The ‘Synergy’ is constructed on the Y-last which has been developed for the more advanced dancer and has a ¾ shank to allow flexibility en pointe. The Y-last is wider around the metatarsals and their joints to accommodate bunions. The box is constructed with paste that is designed to shape itself to the dancer’s foot when moist. This combination of paste and pasting method promotes fast and easy break-in, and also reduces noise on the floor. The box also has a very solid toe for support and longevity.
