The Concerta pointe shoe is made on a curved last which emphasizes the line of the arch and is suitable for dancers with less defined insteps. The curved last
maintains contact with the instep when the foot is 'en pointe' creating a shape like an open letter 'C'. The vamp is medium to short in length which assists the dancer to get 'en pointe' by
bringing the weight over onto the platform. The slightly sloped angle of the platform facilitates the transition from flat, through demi pointe and onto pointe.
